Account Reconciliation Services / Positive Pay
|
Guaranty Bank's Positive Pay product assists business clients in the fight against losses due to check
fraud by performing a daily reconcilement of issued checks against those presented for payment. Any checks
that fail to match are rejected, and Guaranty Bank will provide daily notification of the exceptions
via GuarantyNet. This exception data will include the reason the particular item was identified as an
exception along with an image of the item. You will then have the ability to make pay/return decisions
on each unmatched/suspect check.
Guaranty Bank also offers several reconciliation plans to simplify your internal bookkeeping process and
meet your business requirements. These include:
Partial Reconciliation
This plan allows you to receive a file of all paid items that have been debited from your account.
Full Reconciliation
This plan is used with our Positive Pay service. Guaranty Bank receives a file of issued checks
from you to match checks to be cleared with those that are issued. Additionally, we will send to you a
file of paid and outstanding checks which will balance to your statement.
