At Guaranty Bank, we recognize the importance of respecting your privacy and maintaining your trust. The following Privacy Notice is provided to help you understand the measures we take to protect both your financial and personal privacy. Whenever possible, we have tried to present this information in simple, uncomplicated language. However, we are required to use certain legal terms and have made a sincere effort to explain these terms.
Information About Our Privacy Notice

The Guaranty Financial family of companies includes Guaranty Bank, Guaranty Insurance Services, Inc., Guaranty California Insurance Services Inc., Walter Mortensen Insurance, and Premium Acceptance Corporation (“Corporate Family”). This Notice is provided to you by Guaranty Bank under applicable federal and state laws. It is intended to inform you about the information we collect and how we may share it within our Corporate Family as well as with non-affiliated parties. Guaranty Bank limits its information sharing to only that permitted by federal and state laws. The information in this Notice applies to Guaranty Bank’s current and former customers. This Notice replaces all previous Privacy Notices issued by Guaranty Bank.
Protecting Your Personal Information

We take safeguarding your privacy seriously. Our employee Standards of Business Conduct and Ethics and Privacy Agreements with our vendors and suppliers require that your personal information remain confidential. We restrict access to personal information about you to our employees and agents who need to know that information to provide products or services to you. Plus, we maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to guard your personal information.
We collect personal information about you, from the following sources:
- From you on applications, forms, via the Internet, in writing or by telephone;
- From your transactions with us, our Corporate Family, or others;
- From a consumer-reporting agency.
We do not disclose any personal information about you or former customers to anyone, except as permitted by law.
Sharing Information With Marketing Companies

We are permitted by law to share the information we collect from your application and other forms, transactions and consumer-reporting agency reports, as described above, in accordance with applicable law. Generally, we may share the information that we collect with companies that perform marketing services on our behalf or with other financial institutions with whom we have joint marketing agreements, such as: credit card companies, auto lenders, airlines, and marketing firms. This enables us to better anticipate and meet your financial needs.
ATTENTION CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS: You are also receiving a separate notice required by California law giving you an opportunity to prevent us from sharing your personal information with nonaffiliated financial institutions with whom we have joint marketing relationships.
Information We Share About You With the Guaranty Financial Family

Except in California (unless there is a change in current law), we may share certain information about you with our Corporate Family including information we obtain from your applications or other forms, such as: your name and address, publicly available phone number or transactional information, unless you specifically authorize the transfer of additional information.
Companies within our Corporate Family who may receive this information are:
Financial service providers, such as insurance entities. For example: Guaranty Insurance Services, Inc., Guaranty California Insurance Services Inc., Walter Mortensen Insurance, and Premium Acceptance Corporation.
Additional Provisions Applicable in Certain States

Certain states’ privacy laws require us to have different practices for sharing information. We will not share personal information of customers residing in those states with anyone except as follows. We will only share information with companies that perform services on our behalf and with third parties as otherwise required or permitted by law (such as credit reporting agencies or regulators).

We are committed to safeguarding the confidence you have placed in us, and we strive to ensure your customer and financial information is accurate. However, we recognize that an occasional concern may arise, and we want to resolve any questions you may have as quickly and thoroughly as possible. If you believe our records are incorrect or out of date, please notify us by contacting your banking center or calling our Customer Sales and Service Center at 1-800-288-8822 between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. Central Time on business days, Monday through Friday, or from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Central Time on Saturday. Privacy is a highly valued partnership. Because privacy matters, we pledge to work together with you to protect and control the security of your information.
