is essential in our business. Whether you are just visiting our website or are a current customer, we

As it pertains specifically to the website, we collect, retain, and use information that you provide to us
so that we may respond to inquiries by you, process information received as part of an online survey or
promotional contest, process online applications, and/or complete transactions or perform services you

or provide an E-mail address during the Online Banking registration process. At Guaranty, we are committed
to offering our customers the greatest possible diversity of options related to deposit, loan, and non-FDIC
insured investment products. In an effort to keep you informed as to special offers related to our
products, we may contact our customers via E-mail from time to time with information about products,
services, and special promotions. If you prefer not to receive such information from us, please contact a
Customer Service Representative at 1-800-288-8822. Please allow 2 weeks for your request to take effect.

Software "Cookies" and "Web Beacons” (also known as “1x1 pixel.gifs” or “action tags”) are designed to customize and simplify your use of a specific website. They are small files of information that are commonly used on websites that do not harm your system. Cookies interact with your browser and are used by the Web Server to anonymously track your usage of our website and your preferences for certain kinds of information for each visit. Web Beacons may be used by our third party advertising companies to host ads on our behalf across the Internet. This technology is used to measure and improve the effectiveness of our advertisements. Special campaigns or promotional portions of our website may include Web Beacons that collect anonymous information about your visit to our website. This information includes without limitation: Date/Time of banner ad shown, the Cookie, and the first 24 characters of the Internet Protocol (IP) address. You can set-up your browser to inform you when Cookies are sent or to prevent Cookies from being sent. Disabling Cookies will also disable any Web Beacons from collecting anonymous information regarding that visit to our site.
At present, we only employ the use of Cookies through the Online Banking and the Online Applications (Deposit Account, Consumer Loans and Business Loans). Web Beacons could be used in special campaigns or promotional portions of the website. However, these Cookies and Web Beacons are preprogrammed to expire once you close out your browser.
It is important to know that Cookies and Web Beacons will not collect information that would enable anyone to personally identify you or to contact you via E-mail, telephone, or traditional mail.
The accounts and services you may apply for or enroll in online may require you to provide personal
information needed for the processing of those accounts and services. The information we accept online
through the Online Banking services portion of the website requires the use of industry standard Secure
Socket Layer (SSL) enabled browsers. Our online banking site is supported by a third party, who is required
to keep your information confidential.
Inquiries sent through our "Contact Us" button or the various other product-related E-mail links within
our website are not secure. Therefore, any inquiries from you submitted via our website through standard
E-mail should not include confidential account information. Likewise, our E-mail response to you will
not include confidential account information either. An exception to this standard is the Online Banking
portion of Guaranty's website which provides a secure contact feature and enables the user to send and
receive messages securely and confidentially through that portion of the website itself. You may also
contact us by phone, U.S. Mail, or by visiting your nearest banking center. Please see our contact information
at the conclusion of this page.
Information from online applications or marketing surveys is collected on a secure server and transferred
to the bank using encryption. The information gathered is maintained in accordance with Guaranty Bank's Privacy
Policies and used in the manner outlined in other sections of this Online Privacy Practices document.
Guaranty Bank's Online Privacy Practices do not apply to websites operated by third parties that you
may access through links from our website. If you would like information regarding the collection,
retention, and use of information through these third party websites, you should visit the website in
question or contact the operator of the site.
