program is designed to identify and hire quality individuals that,
upon completion, are expected to be contributing members of the

Training For A Career - Not A Job
|
Guaranty Bank’s lending analyst training program teaches the basics of banking, lending and
financial analysis while preparing candidates for careers as commercial loan officers. Candidates
are given individual coaching and instruction to supplement classroom training.
The year-long program includes:
- Credit Department orientation with formal courses covering bank accounting, financial statement analysis, cash flow analysis, structuring commercial loans, evaluating and managing industry and business risk, as well as practical experience analyzing the bank’s commercial loan requests.
- Rotation with actual experience in both the Real Estate and Corporate lending groups. Real Estate exposure includes Commercial Real Estate, Homebuilder Finance, National Residential Lending and Healthcare Finance. The Corporate Lending group includes Middle Market, Energy, Specialty Industries, Syndications and Professional Lending.
At completion of the training program, candidates are eligible for positions in one of the bank’s
lending groups. All of the training takes place in Dallas, but upon completion, candidates may have job
opportunities in Austin, Houston, Dallas or southern California. Guaranty Bank’s
lending operations are nationwide, which will afford the opportunity for travel to work with key
clients in major markets throughout the country.
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), preferably in Finance or Accounting – consideration given to business majors with a strong desire to succeed in commercial lending
- Minimum nine hours of Accounting - including Intermediate Accounting I
- U.S. citizen or fully authorized to work in the U.S. on full-time, permanent basis
