Federal Home Loan Bank Program 
Guaranty Bank has one of the most active community reinvestment programs in the nation. Since 1991, Guaranty Bank has received fifty-one grant awards from the Federal Home Loan Bank's (FHLB) Affordable Housing Program totaling $7,459,908 and provided assistance for 2,078 units. The FHLB has over 5,300 active Affordable Housing Programs and Guaranty ranks 13th nationally out of over 1,000 participating FHLB members.
Working with the Federal Home Loan Bank, Guaranty Bank identifies projects in cities and counties where we have retail banking centers. As a member of the FHLB, Guaranty sponsors and provides access to these grant funds through non-profit providers of affordable housing programs for low- and moderate-income families or individuals. The funds can be used to provide home ownership opportunities including housing for the homeless, low-income families and senior citizens as well as home repair programs for the elderly and disabled.
